Christmas is coming, and people still need good news.
Christmas is the perfect season to reach out to our family, friends and community with the love and good news of Jesus Christ.
Let’s encourage each other, and our congregations,
to make a special effort this December.
So many people are more open to Jesus at this time of year. Christmas makes it easier to invite people to church or an event…or to show kindness to a neighbour.
It’s also a time when so many feel lonely, or struggle to cope with the extra financial demands. The hope and love of God can shine into those dark places.
Prayer. Care. Share.
Intentionally pray for friends and family who don’t know Christ. Pray for the preparation of their heart, and openness to the gospel, and opportunities to show great love to them.
Do an act of kindness for them. People don’t care how much we know, until they know how much we care.
Share Christ through an invitation to a Christmas or church event. Share something about your testimony and love for God. Help to take them one step closer to faith in Christ.
